HADS is widely used in hospitals, primary healthcare, and mental health services to help identify patients who may have anxiety or depression.

　　量表结构

　　HADS由两个子量表组成，每个子量表包含7个项目，分别测量：

　　焦虑(Anxiety, HADS-A)

　　抑郁(Depression, HADS-D)

　　每个项目的评分范围是0到3分，总分为每种子量表的得分之和，因此每个子量表的最高得分为21分。

　　焦虑子量表的例子包括对“我感到紧张或不安”、“我容易惊慌或害怕”等问题的回答。

　　抑郁子量表则关注类似“我对未来感到绝望”、“我无法感受到快乐”的感受。
